Tour of Flanders

Bruges also happened to be the starting point for the Tour of Flanders while we were there—one of the five legendary races in the world of professional cycling, stretching a brutal 200 kilometers! And this year, it kicked off right in Bruges. The energy on-site? Absolute madness in the best way possible. It felt like a massive cycling street party, with crowds roaring for every rider speeding past.

Personal “comedy” moment of the day: being vertically challenged is no joke. Imagine a tiny human (me) sandwiched between a sea of giants; I couldn’t see anything except the backs of people’s heads. But honestly? Even if I couldn’t catch a clear view of the race, the electric atmosphere, the deafening cheers, and that collective adrenaline rush made it totally worth it.
