About

Hi, I’m Serena:)
I travel in the spaces between everyday life, between I am not a professional traveler. I don’t travel for a living, and this blog is not built on constant movement. My life, like most people’s, is shaped by school, work, responsibilities, and routines. What has always set me apart, though, is how early and often I have been exposed to different cultures and ways of living.

I have lived across countries and cultures, moving between places that speak different languages, follow different rhythms, and hold different ideas of home. Growing up this way taught me to be observant and adaptable in the unfamiliar. It also taught me that a place is never just what you see on the surface. How people live, how they gather, and how they move through their days matters far more than any highlight or checklist.

Because of that, travel has never felt like something separate from life but a continuation of it. When I travel now, I look for familiarity within the unfamiliar. I notice small routines, local habits, and quiet corners.

Wander in Serenity grew from this way of seeing. It is a place to collect moments that feel honest and unforced. Soft morning light on old streets. A café you sit in longer than intended. A mountain town that feels calm the moment you arrive. These are the experiences that shape how I remember a place, and the ones I feel most drawn to share.

A Different Way of Traveling

This blog is not about seeing everything. It is about choosing how to see.

Here you’ll find stories from European cities and destinations beyond Europe, ski resorts tucked into the mountains, golf escapes surrounded by open landscapes, and time spent in nature. Some trips are active and shaped by time outdoors, while others are slower and centered around observation, food, and atmosphere.

What connects them all is an attention to rhythm, detail, and presence. Travel here is not defined by luxury or budget, but by how a place feels and how it fits into the pace of everyday life. Some posts are gentle guides, some are reflections, and others are simply moments captured as they were, because they felt worth remembering.

An Open Invitation

If you enjoy traveling with intention, appreciating small details, or simply escaping into stories and images for a moment, you are very welcome here. I am always open to suggestions, conversations, and connecting with others who share a similar curiosity and way of seeing the world.

Whether it is exchanging travel ideas, favorite places, or thoughtful recommendations, I love hearing from readers who value meaningful experiences and slow exploration. Wander in Serenity is a space meant to be shared, and I hope it feels like an open door rather than a finished story.

Welcome!
